FPS has just produced a new report setting out the principles that need to be considered when setting up suitability surveys for non education buildings. A copy can be downloaded from the link shown below.

FPS has commissioned a report on Compliance monitoring in Local Authority Premises. The report has been produced by IPF and covers the wealth of legislation which needs to be considered in managing the councils building stock. At present the report covers the legislation in England and Wales. The document should be read only as a guidance note for those responsible for the management of the buildings.

FPS has produced a set of Asset Management Indicators in conjunction with Audit Scotland. These indicators are referred to in the Audit Guidance Notes and are being used in the Audit Scotland Report on Asset Management.
